Respite Care Services are defined as temporary, short-term care provided to individuals with developmental or functional disabilities to give their primary caregivers a break. This allows caregivers to rest, attend to personal needs, or simply take time away from the demands of caregiving. Respite care can be planned or used in emergency situations.
